I've taken other statin drugs for many years and slowly drifted into the severe side affects w/o knowing it. I lived through the side affects, thinking it was an age thing. i like to use paracetamol when i have a headache. it's very simple and helps quickly. paracetamol isn't that expensive and helps to make the bad days better.

I started Loestrin 24 in May of 2010. In July I started having lower abdominal pain followed by upper right abdominal pain. After doing some research I found others had experienced gallbladder spasms. My doctor indicated that I was experiencing gallbladder spasms. I am very healthy and ended up having my appendix removed with no indication of infection b/c of the pain. Since discontinuing my medication three days ago, the symptoms are still there but have improved immensely.

Did control blood pressure--it was a sort of last resort effort from the doctor after more than a decade of blood pressure refusing to be under control with multiple, simultaneious drugs. But I had an utterly inappropriate manic ideation. I know it's supposed to remove epinephrine from the system; maybe I had a co-cortisol cascade.
