I had pneumonia in July and about a week after I got better from that, my legs began to ache and swell. They've hurt and stayed swollen all this time. I've been seeing 3 doctors and none have been able to tell me why. I heard about this Levaquin thing today and called my doctor to see if that was one of the meds they'd given me as it sounded familiar. Sure enough. They prescribed Levaquin for me July 21, 2009. The Ultram caused slight dizziness in the beginning which stopped after taking it for a while. It caused really significant memory problems initially. Now, when taking the medication, I mix my words up sometimes; but I do not feel confused. I can pretty much function normally. But I would use this drug cautiously in the elderly! I started off taking Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo and then the price of that birth control sky rocketed. I just started taking Ortho Tri-Cyclen (generic) and I do not even have one full month in. The first week was really rough during the transfer from Lo to normal Ortho. I had a lot of headaches and nausea.
