I was given this for my back pain after my auto accident. It had no effect on the pain that I was having and gave me no side effects. My doctor told me that some people it works for and others like me it has no effect. He switched me to lortab and I havent had a problem

When I was first prescribed Solpadol, everything was fine. It treated my headaches very effectively, there was some drowiness and confusion, but that was to be expected with a strong painkiller. As time has passed on and my health hasn't got any better I'm still taking the tablets under direction of my doctor. Now things are a little different. My mother, age 85, was taking Prednisone for pulmonary fibrosis and it caused congestive heart failure and she died about 3 wks after she started taking it. It also had a host of other unpleasant side effects, but death trumped those. It made her irritable, prone to emotional outbursts, skin breaking open and oozing, and more. Gordon Caldwell Fund

I have taken Ibuprofen periodically to help deal with pain, particularly in my lower back due to an injury and an occasionally for headaches. For the most part, it has worked. It has relieved pain to some degree and has made such pain more bearable. I have never experienced any negative side effects while using Ibuprofen, and really have not suffered from any type of side effect while taking this drug.

Tri-regol has been the only birth control that I've been taking that is basically "symptom-free". I did not gain weight, get a yeast infection, have a change in vision or get nauseous or tired, as I have experienced with other birth control pills. It gets a A++ in my book

I've found Aspirin and Advil to both pretty equally keep my headaches/migraines under wraps. I haven't seen any side effects any time that I have used either medication.
