I was prescribed dexamethasone for severe inflammation in my tonsils when I had mononucleosis. I was unable to swallow and had difficulty breathing due to my enlarged tonsils, but the dexamethosone improved the swelling significantly very quickly. It made me very hungry, but I had also lost a lot of weight from my illness, so this side effect was not bad for me. I've only taken Ibuprofen a few times but it has been very effective at relieving my headaches and inflammation. It has really helped with toothaches as well.

I was on Yaz before. I had two periods a month! So my dr put me on femcon fe and now I have had headaches and nausea for a week. It sucks... I don't recommend it.
