I've been taking Agomelatine for around 4 months now (50mg per day) in a UK based clinical trial. I had taken paroxetine for 12 months immediately prior to this so feel I can make a good comparison between the two. Firstly with Agomelatine i've not noticed any side effects whatsoever, its almost as if you arent taking medication at all, although in saying that it's not been very effective in reducing my depression and anxiety either, although it does help me sleep easier. It is difficult to find credible info regard this product; how long to take for; and how much to take. It is also difficulty to find a supply, normally I have to order directly from the manufacturer, who deliver it to a local shop, which takes quite a few days. I take before food. Sometimes, when starting the drug, I will take double drops, but only for a short while. More info needed!

Did control blood pressure--it was a sort of last resort effort from the doctor after more than a decade of blood pressure refusing to be under control with multiple, simultaneious drugs. But I had an utterly inappropriate manic ideation. I know it's supposed to remove epinephrine from the system; maybe I had a co-cortisol cascade.
