Since beginning Celexa, I have noticed a great improvement in anxiety levels and pre-menstrual agitation prior to menstruation. It seems that I have more patience overall feel more relaxed in tense situations. I noticed the changes within two weeks of taking the medication. I am very pleased to report no side effects except for a slight decrease in appetite. I was not happy with this medication. I did not take it for birth control, but for other medical reasons as prescribed by my doctor. I was depressed, moody, and overall felt physically worse.

I was considering Accutane for cycstic acne, but thought the blood tests, joint pain and peeling lips side effects were a bit much. This was a last resort recommended by the dermo I was regularly seeing, and I am pleased with it. I've been using it for several years for acne on my face and occasionally on my back as well. I've noticed that I have become more moody and tired since starting Yaz and I expected the opposite. Also I've never had acne but do now. And I got brown spots on my face.

I am not sure if it is the medication that is causing my mood swings or something else. I do not feel well though, and constantly have difficulty with acid reflux and slight nausea.
