For me, kava works wonders for my sometimes debilitating anxiety. Non-addictive, and does not cloud my thinking. However, I usually take more than whatever the recommended dose on the bottle says. No side effects, other than if you take "too much", sometimes you can feel a little tired the next day, and/or not sleep as well in the morning. This medication was by far the worse treatment I have tried for my severe menstrual cramps. It made me so sick to my stomach that it felt like I had the stomach flu everytime I took it. I couldn't sleep at all, I would have severe night sweats, nausea, diarrhea, and just overall felt like crap. I wish I had never even tried this medication, what a waste of 3 months of my life.

I've developed a lump in my breast since using the patch. I also have sharp pains in both my breasts since using the patch. My vision has become extremely blurred and I have to wear glasses since using the patch. I've been using Vivelle for about 14 months now. It helps with hot flashes, but the price is too high to pay since my vision is still decreasing. I'm going to stop using it.

I thought I was dying. I have an appointment with a nuerologist becase my doctor couldn't figure out what was wrong with me. It got so bad that I couldn't hold a cup or write because I had such bad tremors. Anxiety disrupted my life completely. First day I have gone with out it and the first day I have not had tremors....
