My mother was prescribed Actonel by a visiting locum within 48 hours she experienced a tingling sensation all over her body, followed by horrific pain in all her joints which has continued for another 3 weeks and is ongoing. She is also experiencing night sweats, often having to change her pyjamas twice during the night. She is 72, has diabetes and hypertension. I have been on cymbolta for years. I am tired of gaining weight and not being able to get rid of it. (no matter what I do) my friend told me her meds. made her metabolism slow down Cymbalta doesn't have a side effect of weight gain but I wondered since i have been on C for so long maybe it is effecting me. Simvastine was prescribed before I had an angioplasty (stent). But as soon as I was on a higher dose I became very ill.Confusion,memory loss, nightmares,servere muscle pain,depression,blurred vision,lack of appetite. lost interest in things and people I love.

This product makes me nausious , fatigue is serious. I feel horrible after taking it. Doctors will not consider an side affects from this product and will not even consider changing it. I feel like I have the flu all the time. Which is difficult as I have fibromyalgia. Another illness which doctors will not recognize.

I do take 1000 mfg of OTC Niacin - quick release, which has been more instrumental in reducing cholesterol, and other lipids. This can cuase severe etching, if done on emply stomach, and whiteout taking aspirin 15minutes before.

This is great med for my frequent headache. I have not experience any side effect since I have been taking tylenol. I only take this as needed. I would recommend this drug for people with occasional headache.
