I have been taking diferrin for quite some time now. At times it is very effective, but at other times it can do absolutely nothing. Unfortunately, it makes my skin very dry and red. My skin begins to peel. This can be combatted with use of moisturizer. My skin sometimes hurts from it being over sensitized by the medicine.

I was on the study that had Enbrel approved by the FDA. I received great care at Brigham and Womens Hospital in Boston, MA. I was willing to try anything to improve my desperate health situation. When I joined the study I was basically bedridden. The risk of side effects is well worth the relief from pain and the regained mobility. During the 7 years of trying exsisting medicine before Enbrel was invented I suffered serve joint deformity mostly in my hands. I have since had 6 hand surgeries... View full comment

Whilst taking this drug has got my thyroid levels back to normal and has sorted out those problems, I am constantly batling cold/flu viruses that my GP and consultant do not take seriously. Thankfully new GP has ordered a batch of blood tests to check I'm not one of the unlucky ones who have their white cells wiped out! Take it is you need to, and for me it was a better option than RAI or surgery, but be aware of the side effects. I have sorted out the thyrotoxicosis but have been unwell f... View full comment

When I was first prescribed Solpadol, everything was fine. It treated my headaches very effectively, there was some drowiness and confusion, but that was to be expected with a strong painkiller. As time has passed on and my health hasn't got any better I'm still taking the tablets under direction of my doctor. Now things are a little different. I don't recieve some of the side effects as my body seems to becoming immune to the drug. I still get constipation, kidney pain drowsiness and t... View full comment

Lyrica is one of the sneakiest little devil there is. First you feel great, it really helped with the nerve pain through out my body, and it knocked me out at night. I definitely couldn't take this medication in the day time, and forget about driving that is a joke! You can barely see, and that is if you aren't already lost from confusion. One of my main pains was my stomach and although the Lyrica helped it a lot it was actually putting my stomach muscles to sleep. I would deal with const... View full comment
