I was told to take this while we were trying to get pregnant. I had to stop taking it because it left a metalic taste in my mouth and I was very nausea. I had a huge appetite while I was taking this also.

I was on TriNessa since I needed a generic for my insurance. I had no major emotional issues or weight gain. I think it did clear up my face--although I have never had a huge acne problem--only occasional breakout--which I had zero on this med. The problem for me was the breakthrough bleeding. First few months just some occasional spotting--I thought I was just getting used to it--but by month 5--I was bleeding for over 2 weeks straight--not really heavy--but enough to have to wear a pantylin... I like the fact the my migraines are under better control while using topamax, but, I know that my concentration is not as it used to be and the numbness and tingling can be bothersome. I noticed the deep joint pain in my hips started after my dose increased to 250mg. My neurologist wanted me to go up to 300mg but I just couldn't tolerated the pain in my hips

I took this medicine to help with an infection with my IUD, my doctor warned me it would cause sensitivity to the sun, but I didn't except it to be this bad. It only take 5 minutes in the sun or shade and I am burnt and my nose has been burnt since I started taking the medicine. It did clear up the infection as far as I know, but I don't think I would take this medicine again.
