Dear Friends, I came across this website while doing a yahoo search on simvastatin. Am glad to know, am not alone. I am 42, i was prescribed to take simvastatin for blood pressure on 17 Dec along with other drugs clopidogrel and omeprazole after my ct scan for heart chest pain. My ct scan came clean. Since having the Mirena IUD inserted approx. 10 months ago I had developed anxiety, panic attacks, heart palpitations, chest pain, difficulty breathing, night sweats, hot flashes, memory lapses and a generally foggy and unwell feeling. I have no prior history of any of these conditions. I had the Mirena IUD removed yesterday and hope that these symptoms improve.

I started taking Chantix two weeks ago, the first week was fine, while I was smoking, when I quit smoking on the second week I thought that I might have an immunity to the meds because I was climbing the walls... like you do when you are having a nicotine fit, by the end of the second week I developed a skin rash with lesions varying in size from a pin point to a dime size.
