I have had simular issues. I first started taking chantix Oct 29, 2008. I had terrible abdominal pain and severe nausea. So, I convinced myself to continue taking the drug because I thought nausea and abdominal pain was better than continuing to smoke. Boy was I wrong. I quit smoking on Nov 15, 2008 AND quit taking chantix 3 days later. I knew I had to because chantix was making me very ill. Whenever I get heartburn, upset stomach, or diarrhea I use Pepto Bismol and it helps it all get better and I do not get any side effects.

I suffer from Fibromyalgia and a variety of chronic joint and muscle pain. I cannot take anti-inflamatories because I take Coumadin (blood thinner). I was prescribed Percocet after major shoulder surgery and found it was the 'best' pain releif I'd ever gotten for my whole body. I am on a relatively low-dose for chronic pain and yes, I know this is physically addictive. However, quality of life is addictive as well!!!! Its really good. It helps me relax and I have less pain. I didn't know it was used for anxiety until recently, and now I understand how it works with my muscle spasms. I would reccommend it to others that are having muscle pains. It helps me sleep and makes me feel much better.

I have tried levothyroxine, synthroid, armour and now tirosint. I get the same reaction with all of them. About twelve hrs after taking it, I start to feel nauseous and extremely gassy. I have hashimoto's and had a total thyroidectomy three weeks ago.
