Thank you, for sharing your story. I'm 48 and my doctor has perscibed me Simvastatin 20mg . I have high colesterol and it runs in my family. I confused and not sure what to do. I have not taken it yet.

I have a brown mark accross my forehead ever since I have taken the nuvaring 4 years ago - it gets worse with suntan. It is similar to "the mask of pregnancy". I also have the brown line on my abdomen from my belly button down - similar to that you get when pregnant. Both of these side effects are mild but I do not notice anyone posting these side effects.

This is my first time using this medication. It only makes me a little bit tired, and that is sofar the only side effect I've noticed. I would definitely use it again, and recommend it.

I stoped taking it after two years as i realized it was destroying my eyesight, liver and kidneys....I went to ayurvedic treatment and never looked back!! that was 8 years ago. The doctors wanted me to carry on for another 8 years. I refused.

WITH OUT MOOD SWINGS, HARSH CRAMPING, IRRITABLE, CONSTANT WEIGHT GAIN FROM BLOATING AND MONTHLY FOOD AND ALCOHOL CRAVINGS. ALL GONE HAVE LOST 15 POUNDS. IN THE BEST HEALTH IF MY LIFE. My son was diagnosed as Bipolar but was mostly manic and rarely depressed. The doctors started him on Effexor which put him in such a high state of mania that he had to be hospitalized. Yet the doctors kept prescribing this poison. They counteracted it with Seroquel which made him sleep, and Lithium which made him shake so badly he could barely hold onto anything.
