It needs to be addressed that this drug can help you and hurt you all at the same time...god forbid you try to get off this drug...its extremely hard...I never ever had cravings to drink..and this stuff made me want to drink like you'd want a chocolate bar or coffee and you know I had to give in..now i'm fighting coming off this drug and the desire for alcohol...neither of which are fun...I have been sober for 6 weeks now...and I can only imagine what this drug has done to my already damaged... I'd been on Zocor for about 2 months when the painful attacks in my arms started. I went through every test known to man, heart cath, MRI, MRA, EMG, endoscopy, various blood work. All came back negative and my pain was attributed to cervical spondylosis. I was given Neurontin, then Celebrex and Tramadol by my neurologist to deal with the pain.
