This is my second round with Lisinopril. I took it previously, lost weight and came off of it. Then, after life's innumerable issues, my BP went back up. I've been on it now for about another year and the symptoms are worse than ever. I've gained an additional 30 pounds that I can seem to lose. My son was diagnosed as Bipolar but was mostly manic and rarely depressed. The doctors started him on Effexor which put him in such a high state of mania that he had to be hospitalized. Yet the doctors kept prescribing this poison. They counteracted it with Seroquel which made him sleep, and Lithium which made him shake so badly he could barely hold onto anything.
