While one of Gleevec's side affects is diarreha (mine was really severe) I found that by taking 1000mg of vitamin D every other day almost completely stopped it. I didn't find that out until after losing 35 lbs. but if it helps someone else, great. Puffy eyes for 7 years now have made my eyes so beat up looking. Haven't found anything that really helped that. In 1984 I was given a single dose (as in One Time Only) of leritine IV push for severe pain and was knocked out for about 4 hours. When I awoke I was legally blind as in almost total darkness; I was later diagnosed with bilateral wet macular degeneration and bilateral neovascularization, the latter of which required laser surgery to arrest its progression. I've been getting heart burn due to acid reflux since i was about 14. At first tums worked for immediate relief but as it's gotten worse I started taking zantac 75. Zantac works quickly when I take it once heartburn starts and its nice becuase I do not have to take it daily in order for it to be effective if I don't want to
