This is the best working drug I have ever taken for any condition. I went from waking up at all hours of the night chewing rolaids and tums continuously, having reflux so bad I almost choked to death several times, to my stomach feeling like I am 10 years old again. I only need to take one nexium on occasions, whenever I eat something that would normally kill my stomach. One pill's effects keep the heartburn and reflux away for 3 or 4 days! This is the only medication that helped me get rid of my flu, and I would highly recommend it to anybody. Concerning the side effects, I think it depends on the individual. For me, it didn't cause me that much trouble.

I take Ibuprofen OTC for headaches, body aches, cold/flu, joint pain, etc. I usually take 400-600 mg and it is wonderful because it helps with pain and inflammation with NO side effects. When I had my wisdom teeth pulled out I preferred taking 800 mg ibuprofen over tylenol, darvocet, hydrocodone, and percocet. I use this ingredient as part of an Ayurvedic Sleep tea. This combination of Holy Basil, common herbs and Ashwaganda and Gotu Kola has helped greatly with my sleep problems. Insomnia used to be a problem 3-4 times a week. Now it is rare to occasional.

I take Zyrtec daily for indoor and outdoor allergies and it relieves all of my symptoms. I started taking it when Clarinex stopped being covered by my insurance, although I do not think Zyrtec is quite as effective as Clarinex it is cheaper and it does not cause any negative side effects.

My experience using Methotrexate has been a positive one. I was a bit hesitant at first because it is supposed to be a strong drug, but it really helped with my arthritis pain. I've been off of this drug for over 2 years now and I have yet to have a flare up.

Advil helps alleviate my menstrual cramps and I feel works best if taken before major cramps set in. I usually take 2 pills when I begin to feel a slight 'tinge' of pain and when taken early enough, I don't experience as intense cramping as usual.
