vI have been on Lyrica for Neuropathy for the past 5 and 1/2 years. It worked about 70-75% of the time for the first few years but now it works less than 40% of the time. My biggest problems with the Lyrica is the side effects-you name them I have them; weight gain (30-40 pounds), chills, night sweats, insomnia, depression, fatique, lack of motivation, memory loss, confusion, sleepiness, abdominal pain, GI bleeding, nose bleeds. Its weird, I thought I was going to have these awful side effects mentioned often. The only side effect, and for 2 days was mild nausea. It was prescribed for add. I do have a history of depression and I am currently going through a lot of stress. It has not helped me to concentrate more and I feel just as tired as before. it was recomended I take this to help strengthen my bones since osteoporosis runs in my family. I did take it for some time but just having to take one a day was hard because I became forgetful.
