Unfortunately, I have only recently started to recearch this medication and it's side effects. At first I thought effxor xr was the best thing that ever happened to me, but after taking it for 2 plus years I wish it was never prescribed to me. Alprazolam is the finest and most effective BZD for anxiety and panic on the market and also the ONLY benzodiazepine (of the triazolo- class) recommended for people with a history of depression. My 15 year old daughter got 2 out of the 3 required Gardasil shots in the fall of 2009. Two weeks after her first shot, we were in the emrgency room with severe abdominal pain, weeks of tests showed nothing wrong, after her second shot the paid increased and caused a new pain in her back. As I said before, I used this medication for my back pain, and it really worked, it relieved my back and helped me having a better sleep time. I really appreciated it. But I had to use it in combinayion with paracetamol.
