The constipation and change of appetite was un tolerable. I was taking pain killers for another problem and had to then sit really in pain due to extreme constipation, belly, abdomen, anus pain. I have had a rough year, worsened by this. One time I had a cold and I took some Vitaminc C to boost my immune system and it felt as thought the cold was shorter, but I am 100% sure that it was because of the vitamin C and not other cold medications I was taking at the time.

I was taking it to assist with weight loss and took it for about 45 days or more until I noticed the side effects of constipation (which I do not normally have) and gas. I have stopped taking it about 4 days ago, once I researched the side effects. I was trying to determine why I was having the abdominal problems. It is not painfull constipation but very infrequent. However my appetite was decreasing while taking the 5HTP. I am now trying to get it oujt of my system.

Definately helped me to stabilize my moods. When my spouse is gone though I can have bouts of suicidal thoughts, lack of energy. Need a booster with it. Very dysfunctional if a dose is missed in 12 hrs- dizzy, heart palpatations, unbalanced severely. But my life is still better with it

Flagyl was prescribed to me to clear up a bacterial infection. There were minimal side effects taking this pill and the infection had cleared up by the time the prescribed amount was finished.
