I was prescribed Cloxazolam about 7 years ago by a Neurologist in Portugal due to an irritating vibration felt in my head & neck, particularly when trying to sleep. The drug just helped me to sleep a little better. I started to reduce the dose to 1mg several weeks ago from the 2mg prescribed and then to 1/2mg 3 weeks ago and now I have stopped completely. For me, kava works wonders for my sometimes debilitating anxiety. Non-addictive, and does not cloud my thinking. However, I usually take more than whatever the recommended dose on the bottle says. No side effects, other than if you take "too much", sometimes you can feel a little tired the next day, and/or not sleep as well in the morning. I recently started menopause and it actually came much earlier for me. I had been experiencing really bad moodswings and I feel as though this hormone pill really helped control that. In addition to that I was undergoing a divorce and a lot of stress at home and I feel that this hormone pill really made me calm down more and helped decrease my stress level.
