I developed a thyroid problem , I was taken chantix for 6 weeks. I totally blame the drug. I had blood work every 6 months with no issue. Now I have to take a thyroid med every day. Women need to get blood work before taking this medication. I still smoke and going back to the patch. Many more lawsuits will happen with drug.

I haven't been taking Yaz for too long but it has so far been effective. The only side effect that I've experienced is a change in my sex drive but I guess that's inevitable. I am very satisfied with this medication.

i was advised to take the drug two weeks before my period. i am on my 16th day of my period, i have experienced headaches, bodyaches, hotflashes, nausea, vomiting and of course long periods. i have been hospitalized, the Drs did a blood test, cat scan, pap, ultra and found nothing. i had discussed my concerns and changes i was experiencing after the pill but they all say it cant be the pill as the pill is suppose to help with the period. on the 5th i go for a biopsy. my life is miserable. i k... I have hypertension since 1994, and I used to take another drud which is 7 times more expensive than Bendroflumethiazide. The previous did not work, I was always tired, a;ways fainted, and so many other associated indesirable side-effects, and no decrease in blood pressure. But since I started Bendroflumethiazide, my blood pressure is normal, stable, and I feel much better.

The disk is very convient and portable which is a plus but the after taste is pretty bad. I sometimes have a cup of water a little afterwards to wash away the taste. I also experience some stomach cramps and dizziness at times, which may be due to the medicine.
