It's great for dealing with congestion/hay fever, but I stopped taking Drixoral after a short period of time because for me the dry mouth and thirst outweighed the benefits. I found myself drinking much more than usual because of my dry mouth, and consequently having to visit the bathroom much more frequently than usual. Ditto the previous comment also submitted today. Started Prozac (then generic) on and off since it hit the market in the mid-80's. Have tried just about everything else and would have some noticeable side effect(s) always going back to Prozac. Tried those other drugs not because Proz didn't work but as new ones came on market and heard positive comments, gave them a try. I spent most of my life trying to hide or avoid my problems with agoraphobia and panic attacks. I've tried everything from psych to behavior modification to many other drugs. While I am not panic attack free taking this med has reduced the frequence and severity of attacks. I like the fact that you only have a period every 3 months & i have not had any irregular bleeding, although i have severe headaches, my appetite is worse ( im never hungry ), and i have severe pains around my ovaries. Sex drive has increased but my mood swings kinda ruin that one. Im not very satisfied with this product and im highly considering switching to something else.

I take Zyrtec daily for indoor and outdoor allergies and it relieves all of my symptoms. I started taking it when Clarinex stopped being covered by my insurance, although I do not think Zyrtec is quite as effective as Clarinex it is cheaper and it does not cause any negative side effects.
