Having taken clonazepam approx; for six years (chronic pain). April 2004 I underwent surgery for a spinalcord stimulator implant, which was very successful. Later that year I requested to be taken off this drug. The dosage was adjusted accordingly. This I followed until I was no longer taking clonazepam. (6mths). Since taking Esipram my emotions have levelled out and the rollercoaster ride has levelled too. I still get bouts of a downer but nothing to the extent of before. I know when I am starting to sink because I get extremely tired during the day but it only lasts a couple of days now, so I know what to expect. I can also watch sad or emotional movies without getting teary but still have a level of feelings, so haven't become a cold, hard person.
