12 Jul 2013 I am now 70 years old and started taking ApoBisoprolol 4 years ago. Early side effect effects were a runny nose and strong drop in sexual interest. But more recently my eyesight started to suffer, had acid reflux and I had to be treated for severe pyronei's disease. I also had one serious atrial fibrillation event that needed shock treatment in the hospital to get the heart back to a steady normal rhythm. Over the past year I suffered from dizziness and lost 15 lbs in weight and am still loosing more. I also now have been diagnosed for osteopinia after my BMD was tested. Am now taking calcium citrate and vitamin D. Will be asking my Heart Specialist to change my medication.
