I developed a thyroid problem , I was taken chantix for 6 weeks. I totally blame the drug. I had blood work every 6 months with no issue. Now I have to take a thyroid med every day. Women need to get blood work before taking this medication. I still smoke and going back to the patch. Many more lawsuits will happen with drug.

After about a year of use, I've noticed that my hair loss has pretty much stopped (at forehead). Unfortunately, nothing has really regrown. The crown of my head is fine at this point, but my hairline is the trouble area.

I have diabetes, treated with oral and insulin. Also treated for high trigycerides, high cholesterol, and bp. Carving for sugar has increased, gained 10# and all readings have jumped up remarkably since starting this medication. At first it helped the pain in my hands and generalized/overall aching pain. Retin A completely dried out my skin to the point where I didn't even want to use it. The skin around my eyes was dry and red and it hurt to even blink. I was only prescribed to use it every other day and i could only use it two or three times a week because my face would hurt so bad. I got red, peeling, and the dry skin. Nothing helped. I stayed on it to see if anything would get better (since i was told it would go from worse to better) and nothing happened. I wasn't happy with this.
