I have gotten terrible muscle weakness and joint pain. I have taken this medication for 1 year and 1/2. I have gone through a serious of test to try to detect the cause of my pain. I have used Medrol Paks every 8 weeks to help. Recently I read the disclosure sheet that come from the pharmacy with my levothyroxine. LoEstrin is like a godsend to me. Since taking it, my periods have been significantly lighter and last only 3-4 days instead of the very heavy long (8-9 days) flow I used to have. Also, this medication has significantly minimized my cramps from very severe (used to have to stay home in bed) to barely noticeable. I would highly recommend this medication to anyone who is suffering from extreme periods.
