Did not enjoy taking this medication. Everytime I took it, I got a yeast infection..the one good thing is that the severity of my period lessened. i have not taken this medication in three years.

I have struggled with frequent bouts of insomnia since high schools. I've tried almost every prescription sleep aid on the market with less than positive results. They often left me feeling exhausted, had vivid, violent dreams, and overslept numerous times. Melatonin has been a life-saver. I take the 5 mg pill a half hour before bed and I sleep pretty well; almost the whole night through.

I began running the end of January 2010 and my knee pain became worse and I began to experience intermal swelling that was noticable on the outside. My doctor recently switched me from pravastatin to simvastatin, since - despite weight loss and adding regular exercise and fish oil - my total cholesterol levels began to rise again. One supplement you should always take if you are on any of the statin drugs is Coenzyme Q10, as statins can deplete this nutrient from your body and cause muscle damage and worse. When I first went on Yaz, I experienced extreme mood swings like I do every single time I switch birth controls. However with Yaz, these mood swings seemed worse and seemed to last longer than after other birth control switches. I stayed on Yaz until all the commercials about side effects began playing and I switched again after that.
