Within about w two hours, I had all the diigestion-related symptoms of the flu (even though I do not and did not have the flu). Dry mouth so severe, stopped taking it without consulting urologist. During the period of not taking it, about a month, blood pressure increased from normal to over normal with mild but prolonged headaches and some edema in feet and ankles. Are the new symptoms a coincidence or has withdrawal of vesicare caused them?

I spent most of my life trying to hide or avoid my problems with agoraphobia and panic attacks. I've tried everything from psych to behavior modification to many other drugs. Moderately effective pain relief, but wasn't strong enough for my specific case. I was in recovery from an internal-external hemorrhoidectomy, which is extremely painful. My surgeon recommended Oxycontin or Percocet, but my physician, knowing my history, advised against prescribing a more addictive drug, knowing my potential for dependency.

Went on the pill for cramps specifically, but the WHOLE first month i had unbareable abdominal cramps nearly as bad as the actual menstrual cramps. As soon as this eased away with the second-third month pill pack, the side effects hit me phsychologically. I've become very moody and intolerant to EVERYTHING. My anxiety has gone through-the-roof and I plan to make an appointment as soon as i have a free day to make an appointment to change prescriptions.

The medication has really helped clear up my roscea but at the expense of my digestive system. I already had IBS with diahhrea and recently had gallbladder surgery so when the diahhrea become worse I blamed it on the surgery but was confused because I didn't notice it to be any worse directly after surgery. It finally hit me that I had resumed Doxycycline Hyclate a few weeks after surgery and after looking up side affects, I now believe the worsing symptoms could very well be the medication....
