I was 17 weeks pregnant when I had a shingles outbreak. This was my second instance of a shingles outbreak, but first time using Valtrex. I was on Binicar for 3 weeks with no reduction in blood pressure. My values were 150/90 (monitored for three weeks with cuff) Dr put me on Azor. 5mg/20mg Four (4) hours after first dose BP was 135/72. I will continue to document reading for 1 month to see if the values remain low at different times of the day.
