Benzoyl peroxide is key to clearing up acne and blemishes. It really helps kill the bacteria that causes pimples in a relatively short amount of time. However, using it too much in high concentration can cause dryness and peeling and maybe some irritation. It's best to use it with a moisturizer.

The first time I took it, I had no problems and, along with an anti-candida diet, my rashes cleared up. When family came for vacation, I relaxed on my diet and had wine and dessert, etc. The rashes came back quickly with splitting skin, itching, etc. After the family left, I started the Candex again (although I didn't wait the recommended time between taking the 2 capsules and food. I take two Advil PM and then the heartburn starts like it is stuck in my throat. I get restless and the pain does not go away. I toss and turn until I am so tired that I finally go to sleep.
