I wonder if my use of Asmanex could be causing my gums to be raw and sore. I never had that problem prior to taking it and brush and floss religiously.

I have had simular issues. I first started taking chantix Oct 29, 2008. I had terrible abdominal pain and severe nausea. So, I convinced myself to continue taking the drug because I thought nausea and abdominal pain was better than continuing to smoke. Boy was I wrong. I quit smoking on Nov 15, 2008 AND quit taking chantix 3 days later. I knew I had to because chantix was making me very ill. I'm doing very well on the pill, i feel ok, but i found that i put on about 10lb. in 2 months. I'm looking into other options, so that i will feel better with myself.

I took it for 28 days as a substitute for potassium, I lost one pound per day, it caused me nausea, and pain. I became more light sensitive. It caused me to have pancreatis. Also, it caused my stomach to tie up in knot.
