I am 17, and have been on Ortho tri-cyclen since i was 15. I really like it, except that it is hard to remember to take, and i have had many pregnancy scares. I had really bad hives last month and was prescribed Zantac to prevent the spread. It was very effective but I had to take it once a day for 10 days along with another medication. By the eighth day, my hives were completely gone.
