I have been pleased with the results - Dr. prescribed Valtrex to "shorten" any outbreaks, but so far, have not had any outbreaks. I had been taking 1 gm pill for about two months, then lessened the dosage to .5 gm.

I have gotten terrible muscle weakness and joint pain. I have taken this medication for 1 year and 1/2. I have gone through a serious of test to try to detect the cause of my pain. I have used Medrol Paks every 8 weeks to help. Recently I read the disclosure sheet that come from the pharmacy with my levothyroxine. Using Carbilev for many years has improved my quality of life but I needed Sinemet 200mg at night so that I could function if I got up during the night. Was on Pexola for several years then did not do so well and came off and started Stelivo. Stelivo was used with Carbilev for about 6 months.
