Try adding more purple to your diet!
Purple foods such as concord grapes, blueberries, plums, pomegranates, acai berries, red wine, and even eggplants are very high in antioxidants. Purple foods have been shown to protect your heart and vision, promote mental focus, and increase longevity. Research has indicated that purple foods may even be used to prevent or cure cancer.

My mother 69 years old diagnosed for rectum cancer. After 6 cycles of Chemo , doctor advised 4 different cycle of Xeloda starting from 3 tables in morning and 2 in night. My mother continues this for 4 cycles..during this time, she suffered a lot with side effects - Skin turned to dark - vomiting - muscle reduction - bone weakness - loss of weight She couldn't able to eat for 4 months and due to that her general health condition become worse and she passed away within 8 months of cancer treatment. Please stop Xeloda incase if your disease not controlled in first or second cycle.

My sister had taken the first course. She died suddenly yesterday. He heart just stopped. This drug made her so fatigued she had to rest a couple times a day, no energy and she was someone who, up until this drug, rarely tired. Yesterday she was feeding her cows which was mild exertion and was having a hard time breathing then she collapsed. Wikipedia states myocardial infraction as a potential side effect and I wonder why it's not mentioned here.

My dad is 85 & was diagnosed with colon & liver cancer late Feb of this year. We were told he probably wouldn't make it to the end of the year. He had surgery to remove a part of his colon due to the large mass he had. He had an MRI recently to see how the cancer has progressed & it only slightly worsened. He seems to be OK now. However, we are going to the Dr today to see if he should start taking Xeloda. We were told it could lengthen his life expectancy. Any thoughts???
