I tore the ligaments in my ankle (very painful) and was prescribed Vicodin. I only take one pill and am fine with it. Lessens the pain with no noticeable side-effects while awake. I have noticed that if I take one right before bed, I will wake up with both my arms entirely numb, feeling like they are "asleep". So I just don't take it before bed any more.

I had been taking Zyrtec for about 5 years and before that was taking an older form of Allegra. As many allergy sufferers know, these and all allergy medications only work for a short amount of time before your body becomes immune to the effects. I can honestly say after three months of Xyzal, I have been symptom free since day one. My doc and I are still trying to work out the right dose to combat the sleepiness that my antidepressants cause (I've tried many - all make me sleepy). On 75mg, I can get through the day but am exhausted at night when it wears off.
