I have used NuvaRing for over 3 years and the onlly side effect I had was loss of sex drive. I loved being able to control my periods with it and not having to remember a pill everyday. That being said, after 3 years on it I started having severe lower abdominal pain. I originally thought it was a cyst but then the pain migrated throughout my whole pelvic area. Treats the illness but not the underlying symptons. In fact, i believe since taking serc that the problem spread to my other ear . -More clicking and congestion apparent than ever before. It's been a miracle drug to help get me off vicoden and fentynal. Couldn't have gotten off all the pain killers without it. But, I wish my doctor would have tapered it off after a few weeks and not kept me on it for 4 or 5 years now. I'm having severe memory problems and sort of feel numb to emotions.
