My doctor put me on seasonique to help with ovarian cysts & endometriosis. Even on a low estrogen birth control, I was having very painful periods. I'VE BEEN TAKING LIPITOR FOR ABOUT 4 YEARS. ALSO SOMETIMES IF I HAVE A HEADACHE I WILL TAKE EITHER ADVILS OR A GOODY POWDER,I'M NOT SURE,IF THE LIPITOR WOULD CAUSE SMALL BLOOD VESSELS TO BREAK OUT ON MY ARMS OR IF ITS THE COMBINATION FROM THE ADVILS OR GOODY POWDER,I'VE TAKEN ADVILS AND GOODY POWDERS WHEN NEEDED FOR YEARS BEFORE EVER TAKING LIPITOR.WOULD ANYONE KNOW?? I quit Lipitor almost 3 years ago. I was very close to not being able to work and had already had to give up all social contacts, was afraid to drive anymore and less than a year away from being on disability and not know WHY! Within the first 2 weeks of being on this drug, I sat down to eat lunch one day and when I went to get up, it felt like someone had hit me in both knees at the same time with a sledge hammer. Yaz was the worst birth control I had ever taken. The only thing I was grateful for was the increase in bust size! If I missed a pill one day and took two the next day, I would feel as if a truck hit me - the headache and nausea was absolutely unbearable.

I have taken Differin two different times. The first time Differin was just in a progression of increasingly strong topical acne medications, the first time the the Differin was ineffective in treating my acne. I then progressed and took Accutane which significantly improved my acne. I now use Differin cream as needed to treat random break-outs on my face and I now, having eliminted the severe acne with Accutane, I am able to use Differin with satisfaction.
