It works effectively for me, but it doesn't seem any more effective than the over-the-counter Primatene inhaler. I purchased a Primatene inhaler after my prescription Albuterol inhaler ran out and have not since returned to have another prescription of Albuterol given. Primatene is more readily accessible, and a prescription is not needed from my doctor. This medication helped a lot because I had surgery in 2002 for Peripheral Artery Disease (PAD) and this medication really helped with my emotional well being. I was on the brand name before but recently got switched to the generic and I like it very much.
