Shortly after starting a short course of this medication I starting having irregular (skipped) heartbeats upon light exertion. It took me two weeks to put two and two together and I have now stopped the medication. I have had irregular heartbeats in the past but they had not bothered me for several years. Also, I have experienced difficulty sleeping including trouble getting to sleep and/or mid night wakefulness. Recently I have experienced diarrhea. This drug does not seem to be worth us... Garlic works wonderfully for helping to prevent a cold at the initial stages. you just eat the garlic raw (or with a small glass of milk) and it kills the infection.

I did not find this drug to be effective in treating my hurtburn as a matter of fact it upset my stomach and i had to ask my doctor to prescribe me something else.
