Trying to get off Atenolol, only been on 25mg for the past five weeks, but I have felt constantly dizzy, always tired, even feel a little down but this is probably cause I feel so unwell on these horrible tablets, Yes they do slow your heart rate down and they definently lower your blood pressure but side effects are so horrible. Weaning off them right now.

Sublingual is a terrible idea. It tasted terrible and made my tongue numb. 15 minutes after taking it, I was completely drugged out and had to be taken to bed immediately. Slept 12 hours straight in a deep sleep, but apparently snored loudly and gasped for air all night long. Needless to say that was my first and last experience taking this medication as an alternative to Geodon.

My grandfather has taken Niaspan for a little over 2 years, he started within the last month with more moderate waking up at night a flushing. I also had positive results in the first four days. Anxiety was controlled and I had a sense of well being. I am now in the fifth month and am continuing to see a huge improvement in both my mood and temperament. During the second week I did experience blurred vision and slight occasional dull morning headaches.
