I have been taking advair since I moved back to Texas in 2001. My asthma was out of control for years but has been under control virtually the entire time I have been on advair. I haven't ever asked to change drugs becasue I've never needed to.

I am a 42 year old woman who suffers with heavy periods and have done for most of my life! I recently started taking Norethisterone to help with my periods, which has helped. I suffer with anemia due to heavy periods, so regularly take Ferrous Sulphate, however this upsets my stomach and makes me feel ill, so I try and take the liquid form which combines Vit C with the Iron. I wish this drug was available in the US. It is a very popular drug in the rest of the world. I know it was a taken off the shelves in a few countries for some kidney problems that might have been caused in young children and others by it, so I am sure it will never make it here, but it is an effective pain killer if taken moderately, maybe not every day. The sachets of powder are way more effective for the migraines than the pill form, in fact, the pills don't work, only the powder form do... View full comment

I used it when I had a bad headache once and it worked wonders for me. It also provided a fair amount of relief when I got my wisdom teeth pulled. The variety of it is great, and even the chewable tablets are excellent (and taste well).

When I first started Microgestin Fe I had irregular bleeding and started my period early and it lasted for almost 3 weeks. Then I went without having a period for about 10 months. While I didn't mind this it obviously wasn't good so I had to be put on medicine to restart my period and then switch birth controls
