I have had Graves disease for twomyears now. The first approach was a gradully reducing dose of carbimazole, from 40mg down to 5mg. This took approximately a year. I tolerated the carbimazle well, though can relate the commentsvre metallic taste in the mouth and and upset tummy at dose change time. This lasted approximately three days until my body adjusted. I have been on several antidepressants over the years. My problems started with very severe panic attacks. For this condition, Paxil was amazing. Sometimes when your symptoms are severe, it will take at least 1 month before the medicine will really start working its purpose. Paxil did make me gain weight, but I still feel this is the best drug for me for those symptoms. Benadryl relieves my allergy symptoms but the few times I have taken it actually have been to help me sleep. Unlike some may assume, taking it with Singulair (which I use regularly) caused no side effects. It also worked right away.

Amoxicillin worked in preventing infections after I had surgery, but I had a bit of a dry mouth and dizzy spells. However, apart from the side effects there were no negative consequences and I have no complaints.

I was taking Vitamin D3 and I stopped taking to make my own observations. I find that when I take vitamin D3 four hours later, still BP is higher. Don't know if it's a coincidence but evaluating.
