Even though my blood work comes back normal, I am still cold most of the time when others around me are not. I am told being cold is a side effect of hypothyroidism. So I don't know if that was supposed to improve while taking Levothyroxine or not.

This medication was prescribed to help with my fibromyalgia. Taking this medication has slowly deteriorated my quality of life. It no longer helped with the pain so I discussed it with my physician and it was decided that I could come off this meedication. The "withdrawal" is the most difficult thing I have ever been through. I kid you not, this is a wonderful softgel. I am so excited and extremely overjoyed that both my big toes are absolutely PAIN FREE. I broke these toes years ago and they have caused me total discomfort, sometimes causing me to cry in anguish. I have been reading about several herbs. I've been using this drug for about 8 months now. I've always had headaches and I'm a naturally a sleepy person, but I recently slept for 15 hours straight and only woke up because of my birth control alarm. This is a horrible drug that caused all kinds of side effects and made me miserable for the last 2 years. Started taking it due to gastritis from NSAIDS. Tried Pepcid first but got acid breakthrough after 1 month. Tried 10 mg capsules of Omeprazole, but they had a nasty aftertaste. Bumped up to 20 mg, then 40 mg. Constant bloating and abdominal pains. I was on the Nuvaring for 1.5 years with excellent results: confidence in my birth control, no change in appetite, lighter, more comfortable periods.
