I started out with 4 tabs a day but that was way too much. Doctor's PA told me to take 2 a day which was an improvement but side effects, although lessened, continued. I experienced restlessness, tongue sucking, mouth pursing, jaw clenching, rash on face, throat tightness with muscle spasm. I learned that these side effects over time can be life long. I had a bad experience with Nuva-Ring. I had originally been on the Depo-Provera shot for about 4 years before I decided to try something else. I researched and talked to my doctor, and decided to try Nuva-Ring.
