I felt the Estring was the easiest way to resolve being the 1 in 3 who develop vaginal atrophy post-menopause. Originally, my dosage was started at 50mg, then raised gradually to 150mg. I find that my appetite is HUGE if I am off by just an hour of taking my meds. My weight has increase 20 pounds on this med. I get horrible night sweats and insomnia. I"m lucky to be able to sleep more than 4 hours at a stretch. I haven't changed meds because I've moved and haven't found a new doc.
