I felt the Estring was the easiest way to resolve being the 1 in 3 who develop vaginal atrophy post-menopause. With any antibiotic, it's good to stick with the recommended dosage and duration of treatment. Although I felt better in a few days, failure to take the pills until the end of the noted time caused the pain to return--that's how bacterial resistance develops!
