Although not strictly a benzodiazepine etizolam shares similar pharmacological properties. My professional opinion is that one should treat it with similar caution, i.e. avoid constant long-term use, use the minimum dose that provides a satisfactory response, either relief from a panic attack, disabling anxiety or the onset of sleep and NEVER exceed the maximum daily dose, 2mg/Day, that appears in the product literature. I am in your age range and I just started taking it today. The doc started me on 30mg. what was your starting dose and having there been any changes in dosages? Also, have you experienced and lack of libido?

the worst period ever when it does come around quarterly. I would stay away from this drug, it is worth having a period every month just to avoid these symptoms.

Started out with 50mg 2x daily for a week, with no improvement. 2nd week took 75mg 2x daily with some good improvement in numbness/tingling. Third wee took 100mg 2xdaily and was so dizzy, could not walk in straight line. Had to hold on to the wall to walk. Only took 3 doses and had to stop. Went back to 50mg till I can get off it. Ataivan works better but does cause some drowziness.

I was given the marcaine prior to having injections in my back. It did a really good job at numbing the area that they were injecting so I felt the least amount of pain possible.
