In 3 years our son has only had Risperidone. We knew nothing about the illness and unfortunately this med has not helped greatly. He is on B3, B6, B9, Vit C, Vit E, Manganese, Zinc, Selenium, Omega 3 etc as per Hoffer's Orthomolecular programme and he is getting better slowly. I also give him Seagreens. Synthroid never affected me positively. It never resolved my symptoms and not only that, it allowed them to continue. I never got better; I only got worse. I found Armour thyroid and have never looked back. Synthroid; levoxyl, and their ilk do nothing but make money for their makers. They give a false hope, while Armour gives true hope and true theraputic value. Synthetics shoud be thrown off the market. They are worthless drugs.

This is the best working drug I have ever taken for any condition. I went from waking up at all hours of the night chewing rolaids and tums continuously, having reflux so bad I almost choked to death several times, to my stomach feeling like I am 10 years old again. I only need to take one nexium on occasions, whenever I eat something that would normally kill my stomach. One pill's effects keep the heartburn and reflux away for 3 or 4 days! I have always suffered from mild panic attacks and anxiety since my parents divorced as a child. For a long time, I thought it was just a flaw when my doctor explained to me some people just need help relaxing their nerves when it comes to stress and anxiety. My doctor is switching me to Luvox CR to see if it improves my difficulty with short term memory loss. I have also begun to have a terrible time waking up in the morning. In reading about Luvox it seems that it is effective without the memory loss associated with Cymbalta on occasion. As we lowered the dose from 90mg to 60mg there was not a really signifigant increase in short term memory so switching to Luvox CR is our next option.
