After being diagnosed with epilepsy in March 2011 and having extemely painful terrifying focal and generalised grand mal seizures, I didn't want to take potent antiepileptic meds with very serious side effects. I was on TriNessa since I needed a generic for my insurance. I had no major emotional issues or weight gain. I think it did clear up my face--although I have never had a huge acne problem--only occasional breakout--which I had zero on this med. The problem for me was the breakthrough bleeding.
